2024 European Health Psychology Society Conference

🌊🌍 In September 2024, the Ocean Mind team, alongside our research partners at Deakin University, travelled to Cascais, Portugal, for the European Health Psychology Society Conference! 🎉

We were thrilled to share our our research and impact with an international audience and connect with experts in Surf Therapy & Blue Health.

Together with three incredible speakers from the University of Western Australia, Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, and Wave by Wave Portugal, we hosted a symposium showcasing how Surf Therapy is transforming the mental, physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of diverse communities. 🌊💙

It was a truly amazing experience meeting like-minded changemakers from around the world, and we even had the pleasure of visiting local surf therapy organisation Wave by Wave on Carcavelos Beach. 🙌🏖️
