Hi I’m Ben.  Many years ago I realised how much I enjoyed spending time in the outdoor world and pursued a career in the field that has provided many adventures.  I am passionate about spending time in a variety of outdoor environments and helping others to find ways to connect with the outdoor world in their own way.

I have spent a lot of time in, on and around the ocean environment and appreciate everything it has provided me – from thrills and spills to moments of solitude and solace.  

With over fifteen years of educating people in the outdoors, I have found the most fulfilment through community-based organisations that focus on working with individuals to achieve their goals, connecting people together and building community.  I am looking forward to continuing this with Ocean Mind.
