Rachael is a Youth Worker with over 10 years’ experience working with children and young people experiencing complex issues affecting their lives. Rachael has a Bachelor of Arts (Youth Work), Certificate IV in Alcohol and other Drugs, Mental Health First Aid and Surf Coaching. Rachael loves nothing more than sharing her love of the ocean with young people and teaching them to find the stoke in the surf.
Hanna is a registered nurse and runs the company Lets Mind. Lets Mind is a blog, info corner that raises awareness about mental health and emphasises mindful lifestyle. Hanna is an advocate for the promotion and understanding of mental health and well-being.
Hayley’s dream as a child was to be an architect until an inspiring Economics teacher at high school encouraged her to study a commerce degree and she has never looked back. As a Client Director within the Business Advisory and Assurance division at Pitcher Partners she thrives on providing her clients with creative solutions to their biggest business challenges enabling them to do what they do best – running their businesses
Peter has a strong connection with community working as a civil engineer in local and state government for 35 years throughout many parts of Victoria building various infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, tunnels and walking trails. He has always had a passion for the outdoors with hiking in all parts of Australia (his favourite place being the spectacular Western Arthurs in Tasmania), to kayaking and of course surfing, which started on a “zippy” board back in the 70’s at Point Lonsdale. He has always been involved with helping community from running tennis clubs and Auskick to helping tutoring refugee students. Having lived in Torquay now for eight years he loves the local community and environment and helping out with Ocean Mind.
